Noted: 1975 Phil Grace 7ft 2" x 20" x 3.5" swallow tail, yellow tint, rail lap, textured deck, semi-keel fin.
The swallow tail is scooped; while the fin
has no leg-rope hole there appears to be remnants of a leg-rope bridge on the tail.
The owner suggested It was built in the mid 1970's for a surfer heading of to Mauritius, as this shape went well in the quality hollow waves back then.

Leigh Middleton

Leigh entered the industry in the mid-1970s opening Sunshine Surf, a hole in the wall surf shop in Barwon Heads, where he stocked Nat Young boards and was the Victorian agent for Mike Davis Surfboards, Kiama.
Around 1977 he opened the Geelong Surf Centre on Moorabool Street, Geelong, and started shaping under the Power Surfboards label.
This was followed by a surfboard factory in Ocean Grove making Cruise Control Surfboards where he sometimes got shaped blanks from Mike Davis, often sprayed by local Craig Baird.
Leigh passed away in April, 2020.

Scott reported (edited):

Pro Circuit Boards, Bob McTavish’s well conceived, but poorly designed attempt at mass produced “pop-outs”.
The precursor to Surftech. *FYI, in a weird twist of circumstance, I worked for Bob during that time doing artwork on boards.
But I grew up riding Seatrend Surfboards, brought to us by Randy French of Santa Cruz, who would later perfect mass produced boards in Surftech.

Retailed from Sunshine Surfing, 89 Pittwater Rd Manly.
The brainchild of the owner Rick Dabrow and shaped by Steve Lennard who shaped at Keyo in the early 70's.
Not many around and often with the decal "Pure Inspirtion"  due to the artist's (Ron Deager) terrible spelling.
Joke was, Ronny was a signwriter.

David Moore (made Pure Soul) boards in a converted flat at his parents house in Vincentia.
He hand shaped the boards, sprayed and glassed them, and even made his own fins.
Some of us young guys would help sometimes.
Dave was a great free hand shaper and a great artist, in those days (his boards often) would have full murals and full gloss finish.
