I worked for Barry from 1976 to 1978. If the Gun has 77 North Street address on it it was made after 1973 as Barry set up his shop and factory in North Street in an old weatherboard house in late 1973.
He probably shaped it, it's his spray work. Around that time he did most of the work himself. A top bloke. A great shaper could copy anyone's boards for them.
In 1976 Froggy Byrne was doing some shaping for Barry (some early decals supplied as "'Burns''), while I was doing the sanding and ding repairs. Another bloke who worked with us was Victor Turk, he started the Busf Surf Co., Ulladulla

COMMENTS
Extreme gun shape with unusal/early application of down rails. 'Sprayed' Lightning Bolt very interesting. Home made leg rope plug - chair leg stopper.
