There are two pages devoted to the theme
of "Sea and Surf" with several images of beach-goers.
These include one image of a lifesaving
team and reel (with the early cork belt), a surfboard rider in action and
five riders carrying their solid timber boards.
One background image appears to show two
riders in a surf canoe (not reproduced).
On a separate page, an advertisement for the South Australian Government Publicity and Tourist Bureau includes a photograph of prone board riders at Victor Harbor.
A copy of the publication was contributed by Henry Marfleet, June 2009, with many thanks.

Note the variation in design, particularly the shorter model on the far left. The variation in swimming costumes possibly indicates that the photograph was taken at an inter-club competition. |

Possibly Manly Beach.
This image was possibly the template for
a noted painting of a boardrider for an Australian beer manufacturer.
