DESIGN HISTORY :
COMMENTS
The Phoenix logo derived from Mauritas, visited by Barry Taylor in 197x, before beginning production in Nowra.
The fin box is hand molded in resin and fibreglass in two halves, then bonded together (substantial cracking in this example). Proceeds introduction of molded plasic models, circa 1974.
The tail has been shaped to zero and a 2" glass section added, similar in execution to Greenough spoon, circa 1969. This tail however has no flex characteristics.
